Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accounts Receivable Specialist located in Broussard, LA. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will manage invoicing, process payments, and maintain accurate financial records. Responsibilities include communicating with clients to follow up on payment statuses, reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, and assisting with month-end closing processes. The specialist will also resolve billing discrepancies and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Experience in accounts receivable and billing processes
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Knowledge of oil & gas industry accounting practices is a plus
  • Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

Key Requirements:

  • Proven Accounts Receivable experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong working knowledge of OpenInvoice for billing, invoice submission, and reconciliation.
  • Understanding of sales tax requirements and processes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
