Job Title: Senior Application Architect

Location: Boston, MA

Duration: 12-Month Contract

Job Summary

Seeking a Senior Application Architect to design, build, and lead the development of scalable, secure, and high-availability cloud-native applications. This role provides technical leadership across full-stack development, enterprise integrations, data platforms, and modern UI/UX standards while aligning solutions with organizational technology strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable, cloud-native applications with high availability and security
• Lead full-stack development using Oracle APEX, Java, JavaScript frameworks, and modern backend services
• Design and implement secure RESTful APIs and enterprise integration patterns
• Develop and optimize Oracle PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, and functions implementing complex business logic
• Perform advanced Oracle APEX development, including Universal Theme customization and Redwood design standards
• Administer Oracle APEX environments, including workspace/user management, performance monitoring, and lifecycle support
• Install, configure, upgrade, and manage Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS)
• Support Snowflake data warehouse development, including databases, schemas, tables, and views
• Assist with ETL/ELT pipeline development to support data integrations
• Establish UI/UX standards ensuring accessibility, usability, and responsive design
• Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams on CI/CD, cloud deployments, and monitoring
• Evaluate emerging technologies to improve system performance and service delivery
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to development teams

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack application design and development
• Advanced JavaScript development for dynamic UI behavior and validation
• Strong experience with modern frontend technologies: JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Angular and/or React
• Backend development expertise using Python, Java, Spring Boot, and/or Node.js
• Experience developing backend APIs and service integrations using Python
• Strong experience designing and developing Snowflake data solutions
• Expert-level knowledge of Oracle APEX (24.1 or higher), including Universal Theme and Redwood customization
• Advanced proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
• Experience working with at least one major cloud platform (Azure or AWS)
• Solid understanding of systems architecture, security controls, and integration frameworks
