Overview Security Guard (Armed) - Camp Bondsteel Kosovo (Overseas) Base pay range: $44,000.00/yr - $48,000.00/yr Location: Overseas, Camp Bondsteel Pristina, Kosovo Benefits: First-Year Completion Bonus; Sign-on Bonus Responsibilities Provide security, installation access control, roving patrols, surveillance, monitoring and safeguarding to the installation and its tenants on a U.S. Army installation. Ensure access to facilities such as gym, workout facility, PX, dining options, and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) areas is controlled and secure. Requirements U.S. Citizen If U.S. military experience is referenced, must have a DD214 within the last 10 years for verification May require a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (CGS-Kosovo can sponsor new clearances) Two (2) years of armed security, armed law enforcement, or related experience within the last 10 years Completed a state-recognized civilian security or law enforcement academy, or armed forces security/law enforcement training; verification (certificate or DD214 with honorable discharge) required Current/active U.S. Passport Willingness to undergo NCIC/FBI background check and fingerprints; clean criminal history with no convictions or major traffic offenses Experience and knowledge of security operations; basic force protection Excellent written and oral communication skills Medically fit and able to undergo medical testing Pass a Physical Ability Test (run 1.5 miles in 17:30; 21 pushups in 2 minutes); no waivers allowed Willingness to undergo random drug testing upon request Regular working hours are 48 hours per week; may work different schedules and additional hours as assigned Must maintain physical fitness to perform guard duties under various conditions; meet all physical and medical requirements as dictated by the contract Seniority level Entry level Employment type Full-time Job function Other Industries IT Services and IT Consulting #J-18808-Ljbffr ContinuityGS
