Job Description

Salary: $90,000 annually
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Principal in daily school operations and serve as acting leader as needed
  • Supervise instructional staff and support classroom management and student behavior
  • Assist with curriculum development, school policies, and instructional improvement
  • Ensure compliance with IEP , IDEA , and MSDE requirements
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Participate in student placement, admissions, and Extended School Year (ESY) coordination
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and high-performing school environment
Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree in School Administration , Educational Leadership , or related field
  • Maryland Administrator I or II Certification (or eligibility)
  • Experience in special education , school leadership , or instructional supervision
  • Strong knowledge of IEP law , IDEA , and school compliance standards
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and foster a positive school culture
