Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced actuarial pricing associate director to lead reinsurance pricing, modeling, and profitability analysis for annuity products. The ideal candidate is a FSA with 7+years’ experience with hands-on AXIS modeling experience and a deep understanding of product development, competitive positioning, and asset-liability dynamics. Experience working with Bermuda framework or private equity-backed platforms is a strong plus.This role requires a highly skilled, bright, and proven actuarial professional with experience working in a high performing culture. The candidate needs to have strong business judgment and communication skills with the ability to simplify complex actuarial insights. Key Responsibilities

· Lead reinsurance pricing (flow or block deals) and profitability analysis for annuity products under both U.S and Bermuda framework

· Build and maintain AXIS actuarial models to support pricing, sensitivity testing, and scenario analysis.

· Collaborate cross-functionally with investment and finance teams to align pricing with asset strategy and capital objectives.· Support rate-setting processes, including new money rate analysis, credited rate competitiveness, and profitability monitoring.· Prepare materials and communicate pricing recommendations to senior leadership and governance committees.· Monitor regulatory developments (e.g., C3 and VM-22) and incorporate them into pricing and capital frameworks.Qualifications

• FSA designation required; strong preference for candidates with 7+ years of actuarial experience in life and annuity insurance.
• Extensive experience pricing and modeling annuity products, including but not limited to MYGA, FIA, PRT and RILA
• Proficient with Moody’s AXIS, including experience building or modifying pricing models.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Deep understanding of investment concepts, including asset reinvestment and spread management.
• Exposure to or experience working with Bermuda framework preferred
• Familiarity with private equity-backed insurance platforms or fast-growth environments a plus.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities, with a focus on leading others to meet deadlines
• Chicagoland location or relocation preferred, remote options available
