Our elite global Alternative Investment Management client is seeking to recruit a current Senior Investment Banking Analyst with structured products structuring, capital markets or risk based lending experience to actively participate in and support senior investment team leaders with all facets of the investment process from investment identification/sourcing through financial due diligence, financial modeling, industry research, risk analysis, legal documentation and negotiation, portfolio management and deal closing.

Responsibilities:

• Actively participate in and support senior investment team leaders with all facets of the investment process from investment identification/sourcing through financial due diligence, financial modeling, industry research, risk analysis, legal documentation and negotiation, portfolio management and deal closing
• Interact frequently with management teams at portfolio companies
• Perform thorough analysis of potential investments including cash flow analysis and projections, reviewing historical financials and performing quantitative scenario analysis
• Collect, analyze and review due diligence materials and assist the deal team with the transaction due diligence process through to the deal closing
• Conduct industry and company-specific research
• Assist in developing, compiling and delivering analysis and Investment Committee memos in support of investment recommendations and the investment decision making process
• Monitor and analyzed existing portfolio investments and create performance reports highlighting relevant developments
• Support existing portfolio investments as required
• Ability and willingness to take on various ad hoc projects as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree with strong academic record
• 3-5 years of risk taking investment banking or investment analysis experience with exposure to private asset alternative financing, structured credit securitization, insurance-linked securities or esoteric asset backed financing
• Willingness to take on ad hoc projects to support the day-to-day operational investment process for senior investment team leaders
• Cool, calm, collected and thoughtful personality with demonstrated ability to show grace under pressure and solve problems on the fly
• Advanced financial modeling, cash flow modeling, financial statement analysis and financial due diligence skills
• Advance business writing skills with demonstrated ability to create presentations, synthesize and summarize complex information, draft memoranda and write reports that will be consumed by investors
• Creative thinker with an entrepreneurial outlook and keen interest in identifying and analyzing investment opportunities
• Highly motivated and detail oriented with strong project management and prioritizing skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
