Job Title: AUDIOLOGIST

Reports To: HR Director and Practice Owners

Location: Waterville, Maine with occasional coverage in Bangor Maine

Job Status: Full Time

Waterville Audiology is seeking a dedicated, skilled Audiologist to join our exceptional team at our Waterville location, with occasional coverage at our Bangor office. What We’re Looking For:


  • Patient-Centered Professional: You’re compassionate, communicative, and genuinely enjoy helping people hear better every day.

  • Licensed & Credentialed: You hold a Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.), have current state licensure in Maine (or are willing and able to obtain licensure to practice in the state of Maine), and meet all national certification requirements.

  • Detail-Oriented & Organized: You’re confident performing comprehensive diagnostic testing, interpreting results, and maintaining accurate documentation.

  • Excellent Communicator: Whether it’s patient counseling or collaborating with physicians, you have strong interpersonal and communication skills that foster trust and clarity.

  • Self-Starter with a Team Mindset: You can independently manage a busy caseload but also enjoy working closely with a supportive and experienced team.

As an Audiologist at Waterville Audiology, you will:


  • Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations, including air, bone, speech testing, and tympanometry.

  • Provide hearing aid consultations, fittings, real ear measurements, and ongoing follow-up care.

  • Counsel patients on hearing loss, test results, and hearing aid options tailored to their lifestyle and needs.

  • Handle hearing aid repairs, adjustments, and routine maintenance.

  • Collaborate with referring physicians and provide timely documentation and reports.

  • Maintain accurate chart notes and manage EMR documentation daily.

  • Educate patients about hearing protection, communication strategies, and hearing health best practices.

  • Support practice growth through excellent patient care, community reputation, and occasional marketing initiatives.

  • Participate in daily huddles, team meetings, and clinical improvement efforts.

  • Ensure patient privacy and compliance with HIPAA and OSHA guidelines.

Hours: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch)

Primary Location: Waterville, Maine

Secondary Location: Occasional coverage at our Bangor location as needed
