The Managing Director within PNC's Public Finance organization will be based in Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, or Austin, TX.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and develop investment banking efforts for PNC’s Capital Markets in Texas, including bond origination and underwriting roles.
• Achieve individual and team revenue goals through proactive client calling and transaction origination.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and develop strategic business plans focusing on client development and retention.
• Lead and mentor high-performing teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to originate, structure, and execute capital markets deals.
• Monitor industry trends, market developments, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and strategic alignment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of industry experience in public finance investment banking.
• Proven track record of originating municipal bond business across Texas, with focus on major and middle-market transactions.
• Leadership experience with a large scope of responsibility, including team development and performance management.
• Strong strategic, communication, and client management skills.
• Relevant licenses such as SIE, Series 52 & 63, Series 79, and Series 53, or ability to obtain within specified timeframes.
