Hospital-based Medical Coding 13-week contract available in the Woodlands. Must have at least 2 years of recent experience to apply.
The ideal candidate will have :
Education : High School Diploma or GED required, Associate Degree in medical area, preferred
Responsibilities include reviewing clinical documentation and diagnostic results to assign ICD-10-CM, CPT4 codes, and modifiers accurately for billing, reporting, and compliance. You will follow official coding guidelines, collaborate with providers and staff on documentation queries, and maintain compliance with industry standards.
