DPC Companies is seeking a skilled, self-motivated, and dependable Plumber / Building Engineer to join our engineering team at a premier office property in Lakewood. This role reports directly to the Chief Engineer and the Property Management team.
DPC has a career opening for an energetic, resourceful and self-motivated commercial office Plumber-Building Engineer, to join a team overseeing a 249,449 square-foot office property in the Denver Tech area. The position will be a full-time position and will report directly to the Chief Engineer and the property management team.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Diagnose and repair plumbing systems across the property
· Perform routine inspections and preventative plumbing maintenance
· Assist with general building operations, including HVAC, electrical, and mechanical system troubleshooting
· Support minor repairs and upkeep of heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment
· Coordinate vendor services and facilitate capital improvement projects
· Assist with bidding processes and contractor oversight
· Interpret and work from blueprints and technical documents
Qualifications:
· Current plumbing certification required
· 5–8 years of experience in plumbing, building operations, and facility maintenance
· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and within a team
· Familiarity with commercial building systems and basic mechanical/electrical troubleshooting
The Building Engineer will respond to emergency situations and will have on-call responsibilities.
Must possess a valid driver's license and currently maintain a safe driving record as required by the company.
This is a full-time position. Compensation is dependent upon experience. The company offers competitive benefits, including health insurance and a 401(k) retirement plan.
