  • Deep understanding of the real estate industry and MLS operations strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in relevant field
  • Strong skills in organizational governance, policy implementation, and member engagement

  • Proven experience in managing budgets, revenue streams, and financial planning
  • Proven ability to lead and manage staff
  • Ability to pivot quickly with the rapidly changing industry

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate for this role is a dynamic, relationship-driven leader who continues to strengthen relationships and drives progress through collaboration. This individual must possess the emotional intelligence and strategic foresight to navigate complex stakeholder environments, inspire confidence among staff and the board, and establish trust and engagement with the broader membership. As a highly visible ambassador, the ideal candidate will be comfortable in public settings, confident in decision-making, and skilled at both listening and leading.

This leader will demonstrate exceptional organizational acumen while empowering others to take ownership and perform at their best. They should be a proactive communicator, a confident change manager, and a thoughtful culture builder who fosters transparency, unity, and shared purpose.

This person will be energized by the opportunity to unify a talented staff, a committed board, and a vibrant membership into one collaborative team. This is a role for a leader who believes in shared leadership, invests in relationships, and seeks to make a lasting impact on the association and the communities it serves.
