Job Description
Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) – Early-Stage Role in the Nightlife & Entertainment Industry (Equity-Based)
Commitment: 10–15 hours/week to start
Compensation: Equity-only (no salary at this stage)
Intro: Read this first.
If you had a chance to be one of the first hires at Uber, Airbnb, or OpenTable... would you have taken it?
Because in moments like this — those rare moments — you don’t just take a job. You make a decision that changes the entire trajectory of your career, your finances, and maybe even your legacy.
We’re an early-stage tech startup operating in stealth mode.
We’re targeting a powerful but underserved space inside the nightlife and entertainment industry — and we’re about to do something that’s never been done before. The legal team is top-tier. The tech is already underway. The vision is clear. What we need now is you — a Chief Marketing Officer who sees the big picture, moves fast, and isn’t afraid to be early.
The Opportunity:
- We're not hiring someone to “run campaigns.”
- We’re hiring someone to build the marketing engine from scratch and help launch a brand that will define a category.
- This is a rare, equity-based opportunity to join something before it goes public — and take part in shaping it from the ground floor.
What You’ll Own:
- Marketing Strategy & Execution – Build and lead the phased rollout (pre-launch, beta, full launch)
- Brand Identity & Voice – Help define the tone, messaging, and visual language of the brand
- Digital Campaigns & Paid Media – Oversee Meta & Google ad strategy; scale what works
- Content & Social Strategy – Align Reels, Shorts, TikToks, and influencer drops across platforms
- Influencer & Community Engagement – Collaborate with cultural voices and brand ambassadors
- Performance Metrics – Track results across social, email, paid, and organic growth channels
- Team Building – Recruit and oversee specialists: social manager, ad buyer, email/SMS, video editors, etc.
Who You Are:
- A visionary marketer with real leadership experience (CMO, Head of Marketing, VP-level)
- Someone who’s worked with culture-first, entertainment, nightlife, or event-driven brands
- Comfortable being early — and excited by the chance to build something before the rest of the world catches on
- Strategic and creative — but not afraid to get your hands dirty
- You know how to move fast with limited resources , test smart, and scale what works
- You’re not looking for a paycheck — you’re looking for your next legacy opportunity
- Equity compensation only (matching our Chief Strategy Officer’s setup)
- 10–15 hours/week commitment to start (can grow with you)
- True ownership and creative freedom
- A seat at the table — not just in the org chart
- Access to a brilliant team, elite legal, and strong tech foundation
If this speaks to you — not just your career goals, but your ambition to be part of something real — reach out.
Please send:
- A quick intro explaining why this opportunity feels aligned
- Links or materials showcasing brands or campaigns you’ve helped lead
- Optional: a short Loom video or personal message — let us feel your energy
- Agency folks who want a retainer
- People chasing “quick wins”
- Anyone afraid to be early
We’re not building a team of clock-punchers.
We’re building a team of culture shapers .
Let’s make history.
