Title: Chief Operating & Financial Officer

Location: Reno, NV Area | On-site

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and mission-minded professional to serve as a Chief Operating & Financial Officer (COO/CFO) . This unique opportunity calls for a highly independent leader who thrives in a collaborative, values-based environment and is comfortable wearing multiple hats across operations, finance, and outreach.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial analysis, budgeting, and long-term planning to ensure fiscal health and sustainability.
• Oversee operations management , identifying efficiencies and supporting day-to-day business functions.
• Develop and implement marketing and communication strategies to strengthen community engagement and visibility.
• Manage and expand social media presence , creating content aligned with organizational values and initiatives.
• Coordinate and oversee event planning and execution , ensuring smooth logistics and meaningful experiences.
• Partner closely with leadership to align operational priorities with overall mission and goals.

Qualifications

• MBA preferred.
• Proven experience in senior operations and financial management (nonprofit preferred).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while remaining open to input and collaboration.
• Skilled in financial planning, budgeting, and reporting.
• Proficiency with marketing tools and social media platforms.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
