Geo-Logic Associates (GLA) is a privately-held, multidisciplinary, geologic, geotechnical, hydrogeologic, civil, and environmental consulting firm. Our highly experienced professionals manage projects through 29 US office locations and an office in Peru.

GLA is currently seeking an experienced full-time Civil/Environmental Engineer to support civil/site infrastructure, solid waste, and environmental remediation projects.

Projects will focus on solid waste facility siting, design, and permitting, and may also include general civil and geotechnical design, stormwater design, closure and redevelopment, environmental remediation, and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities will include assisting project managers and collaborating with team members, understanding regulatory requirements, collecting and analyzing data, review of plans and specifications, preparing engineering calculations and supporting analyses, writing reports, developing scopes and budgets, and attending client meetings.

Office Location: St. Charles, Illinois

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors of Science degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering, or related field
• 0-10 years of previous work experience in solid waste management, site/civil, and stormwater design
• Ability to work on multidisciplinary project work in a team environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Self-starter and problem solver
• Excellent organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Engineer in Training (EIT) designation
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, AutoCAD, HydroCAD, ArcGIS software, and/or other engineering software

Candidate Must:

• Be eligible to work in the United States
• Possess a valid driver's license and maintain a driving record acceptable to our insurer
• Pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening
