- Contract Duration: 12 months
- Worksite Location: Medina, MN
- Compensation: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
What you’ll do as a Color Mastering Specialist: - Manage the end-to-end color mastering process from design hand-off to production sign-off for all A-surface materials
- Lead physical sample reviews and visual alignment sessions across materials such as paint, plastics, graphics, and soft goods
- Create, maintain, and organize physical master standards including paint chips, texture plaques, and vinyl samples
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal partners to quickly and accurately resolve color matching issues
- Maintain a comprehensive physical library of approved finishes for team-wide reference
- Partner with CMF design, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure visual alignment and consistency
- Support new color technology development and testing in coordination with R&D
- Assist with CMFG documentation and release processes to support product development
What you’ll bring to the Color Mastering Specialist role: - Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Materials Engineering, Color Science, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in color development, material specification, or color quality control in industries such as automotive, powersports, or consumer goods
- Stable and reliable work history, with a team-first attitude and strong communication skills
- Keen visual sensitivity to color, gloss, and texture under varying lighting conditions
- Hands-on experience with paints, plastics, decals, and soft goods from a visual quality standpoint
- Knowledge of color matching methods, manufacturing tolerances, and the development of master panels
- Familiarity with tools like light booths, gloss meters, and spectrophotometers is a plus
