P.J. Hoerr, Inc. - one of Central Illinois' leading General Contractors is searching for a full-time Administrative Assistant to work in our estimating department. This position will aid our estimating department in a variety of tasks required to develop cost estimates, budgets and bids for commercial construction projects.
Position requirements include:
Candidates must have at least a high school diploma, some college preferred.
Candidates must have excellent computer skills.
Experience working in the construction industry is a plus.
Have good phone and general communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team.
Be energetic and organized.
Role & Responsibilities
Assist in sending invitations to bid for projects.
Coordinate insurance and bonding requirements for projects.
Prepare bidding documents for estimators.
Attend pre-bid meetings.
Distribute subcontractor emailed bids to estimators for bid account.
Assist in electronic bid submissions.
Delivery of bids when required.
