Job Description

We are seeking entry-level candidates with an interest in the construction and environmental services industries to join our Texas team. You will have the opportunity to perform on-site construction inspections for various land development projects.

Core Responsibilities


  • Perform on-site construction inspections ensuring work performed is in accordance with contract documents - travel is required to job sites on a regular basis.
  • Ensure projects meet compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and Local rules/regulations and client contract provisions.
  • Track progress to project schedule.
  • Inspect and monitor work progress on-site.
  • Maintain Daily Job Diary documenting the type and location of work performed, each contractors labor and equipment, and all pertinent details relative to the progress of the work.
  • Provide photographic documentation of the work in progress, including if/when unforeseen conditions, disputed work, or deficiencies in the work are encountered.
  • Ensure that the construction contractor workforce is sufficient, and that work is being diligently executed in strict compliance with the contract documents.


Qualifications & Competencies
  • High school diploma (or equivalency) with 1 year completed in an Associate's degree program in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Prior professional construction/construction inspection experience preferred.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications.
  • Valid driver's license and ability/willingness to travel to field construction sites on a regular basis required.
  • Ability to work night shifts, if required.
  • OSHA 10 training certification (we will provide training if not already certified).
