Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations within our dental practice, providing exceptional patient service and administrative support. This position requires proficiency in various dental terminology, as well as experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the dentist during procedures (e.g., fillings, crowns, extractions, etc)
• Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments and equipment
• Preparing patients for treatments
• Taking dental X-rays
• Charting the dentist’s findings during exams
• Managing inventory and ordering back office supplies

Experience & Requirements

• Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting with  minimum 2 years as a chair side dental assistant. RDA is preferred.
• Familiarity with dental terminology and office management practices is essential.
• Experience managing a team of employees
• High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Must have CPR certification & X-ray certifications
