Job Summary
Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sterilization Technician to join our team. In this essential role, the ideal candidate will ensure that our dental practice maintains a safe, sterile, and efficient environment for patient care. You will be responsible for overseeing sterilization processes and ensuring that all instruments, materials, and equipment are properly cleaned and prepared for use. Key Responsibilities:
Perform cleaning, sterilization, and maintenance of dental instruments and equipment according to established protocols.
Ensure compliance with infection control standards and safety regulations in accordance with industry best practices.
Monitor sterilization cycles, maintaining precise records and documentation.
Assist with preparation of treatment rooms, ensuring all necessary instruments are sterile and ready for use.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure an efficient and smooth workflow for patient care.
Maintain inventory of sterilization supplies and report shortages or equipment malfunctions as needed.
Properly dispose of hazardous materials following waste disposal procedures.
Requirements:
Familiarity with dental terminology, procedures, and equipment.
Previous experience in a dental setting.
Ability to work well within a collaborative team while maintaining professionalism.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow strict safety protocols.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
