Digital Modeler, Industrial Design

The Industrial Design is a team of dreamers and creators who believe in the beauty, function and value that good design can bring to the world. Responsibilities

  • Create high quality surface models that communicate the design intent throughout the design
  • development process, from the concept sketch phases to class-A surfacing and production release.
  • Deliver surface models within agreed time according to the specific milestone quality standards.
  • Work closely and collaborate cross-functionally with creative design, studio engineering and system
  • engineering teams to deliver surface models compliant with technical criteria.
  • Prepare and carry out design reviews and presentations of surface models.
  • Support and perform surface quality evaluations.
  • Support surface model releases in PLM.

Requirements

Qualifications/Experience

  • 8-12 years’ experience
  • Proficient in Autodesk Alias Surface.
  • Broad knowledge of product design development process.
  • Good understanding of component design for manufacture.
  • Confident working with design input in the form of sketches and verbal instruction.
  • Confident working with engineering criteria and packaging hard-points.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks on a deadline.
  • Ability and desire to work and communicate well with internal and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and flexibly in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment.
