Location: Hybrid schedule: 40% in-office (Atlanta), 60% remote. In-person attendance required for team and leadership meetings. Travel to multiple clinic locations within the Atlanta area

Your Impactful Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Clinical Informatics to lead strategic initiatives that bridge healthcare technology and clinical operations. This role will oversee key teams including MIPS compliance, clinical informatics, clinical research, and patient outcomes to improve care delivery through data-driven insights and system optimization.
  • Lead implementation, optimization, and maintenance of clinical information systems (Athena EMR)
  • Develop strategies to improve workflows, provider efficiency, and patient outcomes
  • Oversee MIPS compliance and quality management programs
  • Direct patient-reported outcomes data collection and reporting
  • Manage clinical research initiatives and data integration
  • Collaborate with Clinical Integrated Networks and IT teams
  • Drive value-based care initiatives through analytics and outcome tracking
  • Design provider education on EMR utilization and workflow efficiency
  • Manage e-prescribing systems for compliance
  • Ensure seamless integration and interface performance (HL7, API, etc.)
  • Serve as liaison between clinical and IT teams
  • Supervise informatics, research, and quality teams
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Informatics, or clinical field (Master’s preferred)
  • 3–5 years’ experience in clinical informatics or healthcare technology leadership.
  • Extensive experience with Athena EMR system
  • Proven track record in MIPS reporting and quality program oversight
  • Background in clinical research and outcomes data management
  • Understanding of value-based care models and quality metrics
  • Experience managing system interfaces and healthcare interoperability
Preferred Credentials
  • Certification in Healthcare Information Management
  • Clinical background (RN, NP, PA, PT/OT, ATC)
  • Athena EMR certification or advanced training

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. This is a full time position.  This position may require long hours. May be required to travel to one or more satellite locations.

May require occasional evening or weekend work during key initiatives. On-call availability for critical systems support.
