Position Overview The Electrical Estimator will play a crucial role in our construction projects by providing accurate cost estimates for electrical installations. This position requires a strong understanding of electrical systems and construction processes, with a focus on multifamily and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities - Analyze project plans and specifications to prepare accurate electrical cost estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information for estimating.
- Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and requirements for electrical work.
- Prepare and submit bids for electrical projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
- Review and adjust estimates based on project changes or client feedback.
Qualifications - Proven experience as an electrical estimator in construction environments.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and codes.
- Experience with multifamily and commercial projects preferred.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
