What does an Associate Field Surveillance Investigator do? As an Associate Investigator at Ethos Risk Services, you will conduct covert surveillance (primarily from your vehicle), review files, communicate with our team of Operations Managers, and draft detailed case reports (via your laptop). Your job each day will be to find, monitor, track, and capture video evidence of surveillance targets. Most investigations begin at 6AM and may require you to leave your home between 4-5AM to be at the surveillance location before sunrise. Investigators must maintain a flexible work schedule, and candidates who are willing to work most weekends and holidays will be prioritized in the hiring process. About our Fully Paid Training Program Our Entry-Level Investigator Training Program entails 2-3 months of on-the-job and virtual classroom training where we teach you everything you need to know to work as a private investigator and conduct covert surveillance. Additionally, as a trainee in the program, Ethos Risk will provide: Guidance and support to obtain your private investigator license (we pay your licensing fees!) A consistent day off each week between Monday - Thursday, based on your personal preferences (once you complete your initial training) Pay increases as you reach certain milestones in your training What you need to be successful To qualify for the training program candidates must possess: A valid driver's license A well-maintained/reliable vehicle (preferably with tinted windows) A high level of adaptability, strong attention to detail, and a high degree of patience as most surveillance cases require you to work 4-8 hour shifts from your vehicle A willingness to commute up to 2 hours from your home to reach the surveillance location for your assigned cases (mileage is reimbursed) Candidates who are self-motivated, resourceful, and able to maintain a high degree of professionalism in various situations will thrive in this position.
