Job Description

We are looking for a Health and Safety Specialist who can manage the complete site health and safety system.

You would oversee full health and safety, rebuilding the full health and safety system, creating a new EHS programme and implementing key procedures. We are looking for a profile with good experience in Health and Safety, working for a manufacturing/ site-based organization. This position will be on site and hands on with the day to day running of the site.

Experience in an aligned sector sector such as Pharmaceutical manufacturing, Food Manufacturing, Ethanol Production or Animal Health and Nutrition is highly preferred.

Responsibilities -

• Design and implement a new EHS programme to be rolled out across the site.
• Implement new EHS procedures after reviewing the site.
• Rebuild the EHS system.
• Train employees on EHS procedures.
• Work in parallel with other sites in rolling out EHS policies and procedures.
• Ensure the site is operating efficiently within EHS legal guidelines.

Qualifications -

• Bachelors Degree in a related field.
• EHS qualified.
• Extra certification in EHS.
• Leadership experience.
