Title: ETL / Data Warehouse Tester

Duration: 6+ Months
Kforce has a client that is seeking an ETL / Data Warehouse Tester with Advanced SQL skills. This is a 100% remote contract to hire opportunity for a client based in NYC.
Responsibilities:
Primary Skills
* Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts * Expert in SQL and knowledge on Python will be required. * Advanced SQL knowledge and strong data warehouse / ETL testing experience. * Data validation automation experience * Experience working on cloud technologies like Snowflake * Strong knowledge of SDLC process. * Experience with Enterprise Database technologies like SQL Server, Oracle, Data Integration (Informatica, DataStage), business intelligence, and reporting tools. * Experience creating test automation frameworks and test cases * Identify opportunities for productivity gains through quality engineering process improvements and in the Agile development lifecycle; develop procedures and proposals and lead the implementation of these changes. * Demonstrated experience performing functional, end-to-end and regression testing. * Document and analyze test results and recommend corrective action. * Isolate, reproduce, manage, and maintain defects and test case databases, and verify fixes. * Support user acceptance testing conducted by business partners or end users. * Identify opportunities to reduce testing time and effort by automating repeatable tests. * Define and champion quality and testing best practices among development teams
