Position Summary: Serve as a member of the Events Team to help plan and execute ARL Events. This internship will allow students to gain experience in the non-profit event industry and build lasting skills. This is an unpaid position.

Schedule: Spring/Summer Internship. Flexible schedule with nights/weekends availability.

Responsibilities & Experience Gained:

• Build relationships with potential partners (local businesses in the metro)
• Develop marketing and/or social plans for Facebook Events
• Participate in the planning, preparation, and execution of ARL Events
• Build ticket and registration software (Luminate)
• Assist with scheduling birthday parties and any rental needs
• Help create content for marketing ARL Events on Facebook and on the ARL Website
• Recruit donations for events (auctions, raffle, food, etc.)
• Learn about creative ways to fundraise/raise money for non-profit organizations
• Assist with Events Team with daily tasks and projects for upcoming events
