COMPENSATION: Commensurate with Experience; (Estimated $60,000/YR + Allowances)

• Pine Level Baptist Church seeks to glorify God by equipping the disciples of the church through Gospel-centered/expository preaching, biblically-sound education, Christ-exalting worship, Spirit-led prayer, and soul-nurturing fellowship.
• Pine Level Baptist Church seeks to glorify God by engaging our surrounding culture with Gospel-centered evangelism, sacrificial service, brotherly love, and Scriptural truth.

JOB SUMMARY

• The primary roles of the Family Pastor are in striving to lead his life in way that glorifies God through joyful obedience, Gospel proclamation, and disciple making. If married, he loves and leads his family in a Christ-honoring fashion.
• Preach, Teach, Disciple, Equip, and Serve the children/students of PLBC and their leaders to know and understand the Gospel.
• Focus primarily on educating students 6th-12th grade while also equipping parents/leaders to grow in their ability to disciple their own children.
• Provide oversight for Children’s Director (Educational Goals, Event Planning, Volunteer Training).
• Encourage and equip parents with prayer, resources, and training for discipleship beyond our local church campus.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Follower of Christ with a call and desire to serve vocationally in the context of the Local Church.
• The Family Pastor must meet the qualifications laid out in God’s Word found in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9.
• It is preferred that he be a graduate from an SBC seminary or other accredited seminary (M. Div., Th. M., or equivalent).
• Commitment to uphold Holy Scripture, the Baptist Faith and Message, and PLBC Constitution and By-Laws.
• Two years experience in serving (preferably students) in a local church setting.
