Job Description
Hiring for a FedEx Delivery Route Driver for Apex Pro Express, Inc. Drivers operate out of the Irving,TX terminal and deliver to residences and businesses using company trucks. No CDL required. Seasonal that could become permanent.
Terminal Location: 3215 Spur 482 Irving, Texas, 75062
Pay:
- $160 to $250 per day depending on route and performance
- Paid weekly
- Opportunities for bonuses
- Paid training
Duties include but not limited to:
- Safely and efficiently operate a box truck to transport packages to designated locations
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries provided by the company
- Load and unload packages or goods from the vehicle
- Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with customer requirements
- Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures or documentation
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns
- Ready to work at 7:30am
- Handle large and heavy packages (with equipment) and high volumes
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (No CDL required)
- One year of delivery driver experience or similar role
- Must be 21 Years or above
- Must be able to clear Pre-employment Background and Drug Screening.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate delivery of goods
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and routes
- Ability to navigate using GPS or maps
- Strong time management skills to ensure on-time deliveries
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Interact with customers and colleagues
- Available to work weekends
