Description

• Responsible for safe movement of boats in & out of dry storage building.
• Maintain location board on fork trucks making certain all boats are marked with customer name & slip number. Inform office of ALL changes immediately.
• Maintain interior & exterior area around dry storage building in an acceptable manner - including restrooms.
• Maintain fork trucks - wash, minor repairs, lube, change oil etc.
• Maintain dry storage racks inside & outside.
• Clean dry storage docks are required.
• Wash & maintain (oil change, filter, lube, etc) company vehicles during slack times.
• Assist other personnel when time permits.
• Assist with unloading of new boats upon delivery.
• Uniforms to be worn - solid color brown, tan, blue or gray. Short pants & Chickamauga T-Shirt acceptable during summer months.

Requirements

• Previous forklift or heavy machinery required
• Certifications a plus
• Safely operate machinery around people and the water
• Boating experience a plus
• Required to perform multiple duties in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
• Lift objects that weigh as much as 50 lbs
