Job Title: Service TechnicianJob Description

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to perform on-site repairs and modifications on high-end modular units such as offices and schools. The role involves HVAC, carpentry, electrical, and other skilled repairs and installations, including drywall, wall paneling, batten, ceiling tiles, and painting.

Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work.
• Execute finish trim, framing, and installation of drywall and wall paneling.
• Utilize tools such as circular saws, pneumatic tools, framing nailers, and cordless drills.
• Conduct skilled maintenance and repair work on modular units.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical work (110v preferred).
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical, and plumbing.
• Understanding of OSHA safety regulations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Certifications in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing.
• Skills in carpentry and painting.
• Experience in mechanical installation or repair.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems.

Work Environment

The Service Technician will work in an outdoor setting at a location in Selma, TX. The schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with two breaks and a lunch. Overtime may be required during the busy season from May to September, but efforts are made to avoid weekend work. The role involves driving a company vehicle to and from work sites, with travel times up to three hours.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of san antonio, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
