The Grants Manager performs work of considerable difficulty in serving as a Grants Manager in the Administrative Services Division. Collaborates with the State’s Attorney and office leadership in the strategic planning, research, development, and coordination of grant-funded programs. Works with program leadership in drafting grant applications and renewals; responsible for development of grant application budgets. Prepares grant spreadsheets, generates costing reports, and prepares and files required monthly and quarterly financial reports. Works with grant-funded staff and their supervisors to ensure grant requirements are met, and acts as a liaison with the grant agencies. Maintains master files on grants and monitors expenditures and receipts. Responsible for Accounts Receivable, General Ledger monitoring – reports, spreadsheets. Assists the Chief Deputy of Administrative Services and the executive staff with administrative responsibilities. Collaborates with the Director of Community and Government Relations. Assists the State’s Attorney, First Assistant, Chief Deputy, Division Chiefs, and executive staff with projects and assignments related to areas of responsibility. Discretion, independent judgment, and professional skills are exercised in interactions with the judiciary, law enforcement, and County officials.
