Job Description:
MEMCO is currently seeking experienced and safety-conscious Skilled Equipment Operators for a construction project in Harlingen, TX. We are hiring operators with experience in Dozers, Graders, and Excavators to support site development and earthwork operations.
Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, graders, and excavators to perform tasks such as clearing land, trenching, backfilling, grading, and general earthwork
- Follow site plans and directions from supervisors and project managers
- Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections to ensure equipment is in safe working condition
- Perform minor maintenance and report mechanical issues as needed
- Adhere to all site safety regulations and procedures
- Work collaboratively with other crew members to meet project timelines
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment (Dozer, Grader, or Excavator)
- Ability to read and follow site plans and instructions
- Strong understanding of equipment capabilities and limitations
- Must have reliable transportation
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs
- Must pass a pre-employment screening
Preferred:
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, some weekends as needed
- Hours may vary depending on project demands
