Description

Purpose:

The Heavy Truck Wash Technician is responsible is responsible for cleaning, detailing, and maintaining redi-mix and tractor units to ensure all vehicles meet company standards for safety, appearance, and performance. This role plays a key part in supporting fleet readiness and presenting a professional image to customers and the public.

Essential Functions:

• Perform all job duties in accordance with company safety, environmental, and operational policies without exception.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
• Operate power wash equipment to clean redi-mix trucks and tractor units inside and out.
• Conduct routine maintenance and upkeep of wash equipment and work areas.
• Maintain a clean and organized wash area that reflects company standards.
• Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
• Report equipment malfunctions, damage, or maintenance needs promptly.
• Exhibit reliability, punctuality, and strong work ethic in all assigned duties.
• Uphold a service-oriented and team-focused attitude, promoting a positive work environment.
• Work safely and efficiently in outdoor conditions and varying weather.
• Demonstrate initiative in learning and applying best practices to continuously improve processes and performance.
• Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• Prior experience in truck or heavy equipment cleaning, detailing, or maintenance preferred.
• Ability to operate power washing equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality work.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to perform physical labor, including standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving history.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. from floor to waist height.
• Ability to carry a minimum of 50 lbs. over a 5-foot span.
• Ability to push/pull a minimum of 50 lbs. across a 10-foot span.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 20 lbs. from waist to shoulder.
• Use their hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to bend or twist body without restriction.
• Ability to kneel, stoop, crouch, or crawl.
• Ability to work in extreme weather, including but not limited to high heat, low temperature, and high sun environments.
