Company Description We are a well established West Side CPA Firm, established 1997, that seeks an experienced Income Tax Preparer. Role Description Full‑time position during Tax Season. Primarily responsible for the preparation of Individual Income Tax returns. Prepare returns from information received, review source documents, compare data, analyze prior year data, and communicate missing data to clients. Responsibilities include analyzing financial statement information for business schedules (C, E, F, 4835) completion, basic Corporation and Partnership data input duties for Forms 1120, 1120S, and 1065. Role based in Indianapolis, IN with flexibility for some work‑from‑home arrangements. Training includes updates to tax laws, office procedures, client database management, and use of Ultra Tax software. Qualifications Knowledge and proven experience in tax preparation and understanding of tax laws. Proficiency in analyzing and preparing financial statements. Experience with Ultra Tax and QuickBooks desktop and online versions is a plus. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time‑management skills. A two or four year degree in Accounting preferred. Relevant certification is a plus.
