Founded in 2008 by legendary interior designer Bunny Williams, Bunny Williams Home is a complete line of home furnishings including furniture, lighting, art, and accessories. Based on‑site in New York City, we are looking for a Junior Product Designer who thrives in a dynamic, creative work environment. We are a small, tight‑knit entrepreneurial team that thrives on collaboration, and are propelled by a shared passion for Bunny, our brand, the products and where we are going. This role reports to the Director of Design and Product. Main Job Responsibilities Research references, finishes and materials to help articulate concepts. Create drawings (CAD, hand sketching) of product (furniture, lighting, accessories, and related) for design packages. Prepare design packages containing dimension specifications, artwork, and concept references to be sent to vendors and makers. Assist in design development and project communication with vendors, manufacturers, licensees, and the BWH team to ensure concepts are understood, key deadlines are met, and that each design is on‑brand; manage project/product tracking documents. Maintain the archiving system for design packages, concepts, and finish library. Help define aesthetic direction through research, creation of inspiration boards, and sketching. Travel as required to review product development. Participate in weeknight evening Zoom calls with overseas vendors as needed (usually between 8 pm and 10 pm). Assist in preparation for internal presentations, showroom installation, photography shoots, and related. Qualifications College degree preferred. Industrial, Furniture, or relevant Design Degree preferred. 1‑4 years experience in related profession preferred. Proficiency in Rhino 3D and/or AutoCAD, as well as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and 2D drafting. Passion for decorative arts and the history of furniture is essential. Appreciation of classical design and references. Strong sketching skills. Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills. Self‑starter that is resourceful and takes initiative. Flexible and comfortable with shifting priorities. Ability to develop ideas from initial concept through to finished production art. Ability to work as part of a team and individually on projects.
