Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum
• Monitor and assess the health status of patients and their babies
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Assist with labor and delivery procedures, including cesarean sections
• Educate patients and their families on postpartum care and newborn care
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

Skills:

• BLS and NRP certification required
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing

Education/Experience:

• Associate or a bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree.
