VBeyond Corporation is seeking a travel nurse Correctional Level I for a travel nursing job in Cushing, Oklahoma.
Job Description & Requirements Title: Registered Nurse
Location: Cushing, OK 74023
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day 5*8
Key Responsibilities:
Perform health assessments, triage, and monitor patients’ health status.
Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate care or life-saving interventions.
Collaborate with physicians, mental health professionals, and correctional staff to ensure comprehensive care.
Monitor and manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma.
Educate inmates on health topics such as hygiene, disease prevention, and wellness.
Qualifications:
Current and valid RN license in the state of practice.
ACLS/BLS certification required
Prior nursing experience in a correctional, emergency, psychiatric, or acute care setting preferred.
Knowledge of correctional health standards and legal regulations (e.g., HIPAA, NCCHC).
