LHH is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to sit in our clients office in Jacksonville, Florida. Check out the details below:
Salary Range: $60,000 to $75,000
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Minimum 3 days in-office per week
- 2 remote days weekly after successful onboarding
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft standard court filings including Notices of Appearance, Pro Hac Vice Motions, Subpoenas, Stipulations, and other legal documents
- Prepare legal materials such as discovery responses and affidavits for attorney review
- Coordinate with record vendors to obtain medical and educational records
- Assemble exhibits and demonstrative evidence for hearings and trials
- Conduct legal research using Lexis/Westlaw and public databases
- Organize and analyze medical and educational records for motion practice
- Assist attorneys with witness preparation for depositions and trials
- Review documents for relevance and privilege in preparation for disclosure
- Analyze reports, records, and discovery responses
- Accurately record billable time in accordance with firm policies
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of relevant litigation paralegal experience
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive tasks and work with several attorneys
- Experience handling large, document-intensive cases
- Proficiency in Lexis/Westlaw, Microsoft Word, Excel, and KOFAX Professional
- Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate required
