PrideStaff Greenville is seeking a dependable & knowledgeable Logistics Specialist / Shipper on behalf of our client in Greenville, SC in the Woodruff Rd area.

We are searching for an experienced Logistics Specialist / Shipper that is responsible for providing a comprehensive solution for transporting equipment and machinery safely and securely, ensuring it arrives at its destination in excellent condition. A person with maintenance, quality inspecting skills & knowledge of packaging materials, preservation techniques, and shipping logistics to protect valuable assets during transit is preferred.

Logistics Specialist / Shipper Tasks:

• Preserve and package machinery to protect from environmental damage (cleaning, lubricating, protective coating)
• Lead/assist with export crating for secure, compliant transport
• Collaborate with customer on preservation/warehousing needs
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe work environment per protocols
• Accurately document work and communicate machinery status
• Represent the company professionally in customer interactions
• Suggest improvements for warehouse/preservation processes

Logistics Specialist / Shipper Work Activities:

• Proficient with hand tools and preservation equipment
• Experience with machinery preservation, export crating, & handling large equipment preferred
• Forklift experience (preferred)
• Ability to lift & carry up to 50lbs, and move heavy machinery
• Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Committed to safety procedures and PPE use.
• Effective verbal/written communication and professional appearance
• Comfortable in industrial settings with varying conditions/temperatures
• Flexibility with hours based on customer needs.
