Location: Norwalk, CT

Salary: $130,000.00 USD Annually - $140,000.00 USD Annually

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Market Development - Lubricant Additives ONLY

To Perform Well In The Role, The Candidate Will

• Create new relationships and engage:
• Innovation Centers or blue sky / skunk works departments
• Defense / military Research Labs
• OEMs
• Use new marketing tools (Zoom Info, etc.) to identify and map opportunities
• Have an ear to the ground for completely new / unconventional applications for our technology
• Create and manage product development / performance testing projects as needed

To be effective in this role, candidates must be commercially oriented with a strong technical background.

They should understand our core chemistry with a sales mindset to foster relationships, add value, create projects, capture sales, and contribute to the growth of the business.

Education Required: BS Chemistry or Chemical Engineering

Experience Preferred

• Sales & marketing experience representing specialty chemicals in related fields
• Marketing team engagement, annual planning / strategies / resource and budget alignment
• Formulation & performance knowhow related to additive impact, response, and results.
• Performance testing experience / problem solving knowhow and attitude
• Experience in identifying new or unconventional opportunities and delivering creative solutions
• Experience working with agents, distributors, international teams, etc.
