Job Description

Marketing Consultant

The Marketing Consultant role is designed to support senior and lead marketing consultants in various marketing initiatives including brand marketing, strategic planning, content marketing, digital media and social media. The position requires an understanding of marketing principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site or remote environment.

At KeyBank, marketing consultants coordinate with internal teams, external agencies and resources to manage the workflow and process of marketing projects and ensure the timely completion of assigned projects.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Work with marketing managers and LOB partners to understand the scope and context of projects for each line of business
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure marketing initiatives align with business and brand objectives
  • Works closely with internal and external agencies to execute projects based on established objectives and project briefs
  • Manage and execute assigned marketing projects in an accurate and efficient manner
  • Effectively works across internal and external teams to build trust and relationships with key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with teams to track and report on campaign performance, providing recommendations for improvement
  • Assist in ongoing project management, coordinate day-to-day deliverables
  • Stay current on business trends and competitive landscape, report out these findings
  • Adhere to applicable risk policies and procedures

Competencies/Skills:

  • 2+ years of work experience, agency or banking experience a plus
  • Able to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail. Excellent organizational, time management, written, and communication skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment under multiple deadlines and competing priorities
  • Able to track and maintain scheduled assignments and campaign data, develop campaign performance reports
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to interact effectively and build relationships at all levels of an organization and across diverse cultures
  • Results oriented, proactive attitude, positive and effective team member
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new marketing trends and technologies

As a result, this role may be mobile or home based, which means you may work either at a home office or in a Key facility to perform your job duties.

Compensation and Benefits:

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $65,000 to $75,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
