Job Description
Choice Dermatology is expanding our reach in New Jersey with a new location opening this fall. We are looking for a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team and work across multiple office locations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assisting providers with medical and cosmetic dermatology procedures (e.g., biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy)
Rooming patients, taking and recording vital signs, and updating medical histories in the EMR system
Preparing treatment rooms and sterilizing instruments
Providing patient education and post-care instructions
Managing specimen collection and lab requisitions
Assisting with administrative tasks such as scheduling, authorizations, and patient follow-up
Traveling between Union, Basking Ridge, and Chatham locations as needed
Qualifications:
Medical Assistant Certification (CMA/RMA) preferred
Dermatology experience strongly preferred
Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment
Reliable transportation and flexibility to work at all designated locations
