Salary: $20-27/hr DOE

Job Description: The MIG/TIG Welder will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components according to blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience with both MIG and TIG welding techniques, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG and TIG welding operations to join metal components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Set up welding machines based on job specifications.
• Inspect and ensure welds meet quality and safety standards.
• Operate hand tools, grinders, and other equipment to prepare metal surfaces.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform regular maintenance on welding equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve welding issues as they arise.
• Document and report work progress and any issues to the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; welding certification preferred.
• Proven experience as a MIG/TIG Welder.
• Proficient in MIG and TIG welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of welding safety standards and practices.
• Good hand-eye coordination and physical stamina.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
