Skillbridge Fitness Internship Training Program

F45 Training has developed a Department of Defense (DOD) approved SkillBridge Fitness Internship Training Program to assist active duty service members and their spouses in transitioning their military experience into careers in the fitness industry. If you are currently on active duty or a military spouse and interested in joining our F45 SkillBridge Program, please submit your application to this F45 Military Host studio for consideration.

Program Overview

Military interns can be placed at F45 Military Host studios for up to 6 months (180 days) at no cost to the host studio. This internship aims to train, educate, and prepare participants for potential employment at an F45 location upon completion. By the end of the program, participants will become Certified Personal Trainers (CPTs) and will be considered for employment opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Coaching and Member Engagement: Assist in coaching and motivating studio members through predetermined workouts.
• Goal-Oriented Consultations: Help conduct in-person consultations with trial members to understand their fitness goals.
• Exercise Technique: Learn to correct exercise form and provide guidance to prevent injuries.
• Promotion of Services: Support the promotion and sale of F45 services to aid in membership growth and retention.
• Service Desk Support: Assist with light service desk responsibilities to enhance member experience.
• Exercise Demonstration: Demonstrate exercises with perfect form and provide regressions and progressions for various fitness levels.
• Equipment Management: Set up, break down, clean, and store equipment around the studio before and after classes.
• Daily Operations: Engage in day-to-day responsibilities as assigned by studio management to ensure a top-tier workout experience.
• Shadowing Coaches: Observe and support experienced coaches during training sessions and consultations.

Qualifications

• Active duty service member or military spouse.
• Within the first eight weeks, obtain a nationally accredited fitness certification (i.e. ISSA, NSA, ACE, ACSM, PTA Global, NASM, AFAA, etc.)
• Within the first eight weeks, obtain a current CPR/First Aid/AED certification
