Job Title: Mill Assistant

Job Pay: $19-$21/hr

Shifts Available: 3pm- 11:30pm and 11pm- 7:30am

General job description: We are seeking a candidate to fill a milling & operator assistant role. This job will commonly perform routine tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing/warehouse -like environment. Desirable candidates are able to work independently and as part of a team, with limited supervision at times, and are detail-oriented and hard working. These job openings do work internally with other staff and management to complete production goals on a daily and weekly basis.

Responsibilities - Mill/Maintenance:

• Provide effective operations and documentation related to production and maintenance of the mill and warehouse equipment
• Monitor and adjust milling machinery to control process to specification.
• Perform all required quality testing per customer or MGI Grain Inc. specifications.
• Perform cleaning/ sanitation of mill, flaker room and facilities to meet food safety requirements.
• Execute mill changeovers to meet production schedule.
• Assist with mill maintenance and cleaning schedule and document these activities.
• Communicate required/necessary information to appropriate departments.
• Train new team as necessary.
• Any other duties as assigned by plant management.
