Job Summary

Responsible for the accurate and efficient packaging of the divisional Retail/Cup product.

In the event of an absence, the position will be filled by trained personnel.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • The accurate and efficient handling, labeling and packaging of divisional Retail products.
  • The ability to handle the accelerated process flow of the Pack-out process.

Cup Pack-Out Level 2: In addition to Level 1 accountabilities…

  • Shows absolute proficiency in operation of key Packout equipment.
  • Ability to maintain processing flow, resulting in absolute operational efficiency.
  • In absence or in tandem with a trainer, assists in the training of departmental staff as needed.
  • Understands departmental KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators), and is committed to meeting or
  • exceeding them on a daily basis.

Cup Pack-Out Level 3: In addition to Level 1 & Level 2 accountabilities…

  • Shows absolute expertise in the operation, adjustment, and general repairs of multiple pieces of
  • key Packout equipment.
  • Is seen as a “go to” SMA (Subject Matter Expert) within the Packout department. Able to answer
  • or assist with most Packout related inquiries.
  • Is considered a top performer within the Packout department; able to be relied upon to perform
  • their position at the highest level under minimal supervision.
  • Other responsibilities w/ similar skill and work conditions as assigned.

Responsibilities for Food Safety

  • Must adhere to all corporate GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), established SOPs (Standard
  • Operating Procedures) and all Food Safety policies including “Clean as you go” program.
  • Must adhere to all Allergen control programs and procedures as applicable.
  • Responsible for reporting suspicious packages, activities and individuals.
  • If monitoring CCPs (Critical Control Points), must be trained in HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical
  • Control Point) and adhere to the approved HACCP plan(s).
  • Label verification & line clearance between batches.
Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities

Level 1: the ability to verbally communicate in English; speaking and understanding spoken

words.

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
  • Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

Education and/or Experience

  • No prior experience or training.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • No specified requirements.
