Job Description

Office Location: Albany or Poughkeepsie, NY

Work Schedule:  This role has hybrid flexibility, allowing 2 remote days/week based on business needs. This is a full-time position. Due to client deadlines, overtime may be required and paralegals will receive time and one-half compensation for hours worked above 40 hours in a workweek.

Salary: $55,000-$65,000

We are currently seeking a Paralegal to work in an employment-based Immigration Practice.

The Role:

You will work on employment-based immigration cases such as:

• PERM
• National Interest Waiver and other employment-based green cards
• E2 investor cases
• Other work-based visas such as H1B, TN, O1, and P3

Skills Needed for Success:

• Knowledge/experience in employment-based immigration processes preferred
• Excellent writing and editing skills for complex support letters
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Skilled with Microsoft Office Suite
• Sharp attention to detail while producing large volumes of accurate work in a busy setting

Education and Experience:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a field emphasizing writing or communication preferred
• Paralegal experience in an employment-based immigration office preferred
• Combination of relevant experience accepted in lieu of degree
