First Baptist Church, Arcadia, Louisiana, is prayerfully seeking to fill the full-time vacant position of Southern Baptist Senior Pastor. We are part of the Louisiana Baptist Convention and Bienville Baptist Association. The church is focused toward missions and spiritual growth.
In October, First Baptist Church will celebrate 178 years of ministry in Arcadia. The church stands in the middle of the small town of Arcadia, Louisiana, located in the piney hills of north Louisiana along the Interstate 20 corridor. At First Baptist Church, Arcadia, you will be welcomed by people of all walks and seasons of life who are worshiping together. Our morning worship is a blend of traditional and contemporary music and Biblically-rich teaching from the Holy Bible.
The man the Pastoral Search Committee will recommend to the church to serve as senior pastor shall be a licensed and ordained minister who believes and tries to live by the scriptural qualifications for a minister as set forth in 1Timothy 3: 1-7.
