Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Chef with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in a high-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will be confident in pizza dough preparation, hand-stretching, topping, and baking using a wood-fired or stone oven.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a wide range of pizzas according to Francesco’s quality standards.

• Hand-stretch dough and manage proofing and fermentation processes.

• Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and prepared according to health and safety standards.

• Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times.

• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.

• Uphold Francesco’s reputation for consistent quality and authentic Italian flavors.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a pizza chef or similar role in a professional kitchen.

• Proficiency in dough making, hand stretching, topping, and baking techniques.

• Experience with wood-fired or stone ovens (preferred).

• Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail.

• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.

• Passion for Italian cuisine and a dedication to culinary excellence.
