Do you have experience in the cross-section of military and data policy and governance? Imagine yourself working on a top-level, critical mission alongside other seasoned professionals. Parsons is now hiring a Policy and Governance Analyst with a passion for establishing and improving data management processes. Specific Responsibilities: Comfortably communicate with staff; collaborate with stakeholders to integrate policy considerations into project planning and execution Update and maintain policy and governance documentation (i.e. manuals, directives, etc.) Lead development and implementation of new standards and procedures aligned with DoD requirements and industry best practices Explain complex, technically difficult information in an easily understood manner to technical and non-technical audiences Educate, mentor, and provide expert guidance on the interpretation and application of policy and governance requirements to ensure adherence to best practices and applicable standards Capable of intuitively solving complex problems, working independently, with minimal guidance. Strong problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail Required Education/Experience: 5+ years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; will consider experience in lieu of degree 5+ years’ experience working in a multi-skilled team environment collaborating on data automation Possess a strong data analytics or computer science background Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and planning skills Active DoD Top Secret-level security clearance with SCI eligibility Preferred Experience: Prior military experience supporting US INDOPACOM activities Prior experience supporting a large team or Branch-level office Experience with big-data and AI/ML concepts Security Clearance Requirement: An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
